
Who are you leaving your Facebook to?
Ever thought about what’s going to happen to your online life after you’ve left this earth? And who’s going to have access to it? Your Internet-based life probably includes at least two emails, Facebook, maybe Twitter and PayPal, not to mention online banking and all those air miles. Then there are all those digital photos and any other files you’ve ever created, copied and saved on your computer.
A service called Data Inherit from Swiss firm DSwiss can take care of it for you. They store your data and passwords on servers so secure they meet Swiss banking security standards. In fact, journalists aren’t even allowed to tour the facility outside Zurich. WRS’s Carla Drysdale asked Andreas Jacob, their Head of Customer Business and Partner Relationships, whether this service was really meant for the average person or is it something for the wealthy?
