What is this about?

DataInherit is a highly secure Swiss data-safe with data inheritance. A client of DataInherit has designated you as one his activators authorized to activate his data inheritance. This is a responsible and very important task. Please therefore note the following.

The DataInherit Activation Code

You have in your possession the “DataInherit Activation Code” form which you have received from the DataInherit client. You will need this valid form to be entitled to effect activation.

When should I activate the data inheritance?

The DataInherit client has given you instructions about this on your personal “DataInherit Activation Code” form. Please proceed accordingly.

How do I activate the data inheritance?

To activate the data inheritance of the important data by DataInherit, enter the activation code found on your personal “DataInherit Activation Code” form via the Internet at this address:

What happens next after activation?

• After successfully entering the activation code this will be confirmed immediately in the input window.
• The data inheritance is executed by DataInherit after observing the safety delay period specified by the client. DataInherit tries to contact the client during the safety delay period, in order to prevent erroneous activations.
• Once the safety delay period has expired the beneficiaries of the client receive the data assigned to them in a secure and confidential manner. As an authorized activator you may also be designated a beneficiary by the client.

Important Points

• Keep the document with the activation code carefully in the safest and most confidential location until you need it.
• DataInherit effects the data inheritance precisely in the way the client has arranged and specified.
• DataInherit itself has no knowledge of the authorized activators and the beneficiaries of the client.
• DataInherit can never see the data stored by the client.
